United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women shall be a community of women, whose purpose is to know God. And to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The Wesley Circle meets in the parlor at 1:00 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Anyone is welcome, however, this is primarily geared towards senior women. They follow the UMW program book.
The Grace Circle meets in the parlor at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. This circle follows the UMW program book.
The Esther Circle meets in the old Haven at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of every month. This circle does a bible study.
The local unit meets the 2nd Sunday of every other month at 5:00 p.m. This meeting primarily focuses on the business of the unit. There is a short program at each meeting that covers a variety of topics. We are always looking for new ladies to join us in our spiritual growth, as well as building our understanding of where we can be the hands and feet of Christ in others' lives. If you are looking for some time to truly be with God please consider doing so with us.
The United Methodist Women conduct and sponsor many activities throughout the year. Some of these include: Chili Cook-off, Senior Banquet, Birthday Party/Home-made Ice Cream Contest, Bazaar, and a Weekend Women's Retreat. In serving the Lord together, we form deep and lasting friendships with other women who share our passion for Christ. We would love for you to join us!
